A note from Naomi

I never planned to write a book. Between leading a technology practice and raising my daughter, life was already full. Then one quiet morning, a stranger tied a red balloon to a small chair and a hard week turned soft again.

I’m Deaf, and little elements of Auslan are woven naturally into the pages, reflections of the way our family communicates, connects, and loves.
